JON ROE
In my work, I attempt to find the fine line between bad drawings that are just plain wrong and bad drawings that are just wrong enough to be right – trying to capture the little details and quirks that give characters life and personality. I try to communicate atmosphere, emotion and humour in my work – through figurative drawings or more symbolic pieces. I mainly draw in pencil and ink, but have recently been using silk-screen printing.
